Challenges and Construction Applications of Solid Waste Management in Middle East Arab Countries

Over the past few decades, solid waste production, specifically construction waste, in Middle Eastern Arab countries has dramatically increased. This is characterized by several factors, including rapid urbanization, common food wasting habits, diverse culture, lack of proper planning processes, insufficient equipment, as well funding. The exponential growth generation rates led to hazards health and environment, causing issues related air water pollution under already increasing pressure climate change. In this review, we analyze current challenges 13 countries, diseases, actual projects applied. selection was mainly based on with highest population availability data field study. review also highlights efforts governments that implemented pilot are not sustainable or effective long term. We discuss main facing each country they have common, potential use great amounts these countries.
